Vice President Dr Galina Motova takes over as APQN President

APQN Board is pleased to announce that vice president Dr Galina Motova has taken over as the President of APQN in view of stepping down by President NB Raika owing to personal reasons.

Mr Raika has kindly proposed to step down from the elected position of President. This is mainly because of pressing engagements at his home country limiting his ability to attend APQN events and other tasks. As the meeting in Dhaka proposed and as consented by Mr Raika Board requested Dr Galina Motova to assume the role of President till the remainder of 7th Board term [ Till election of 8th Board or the date on which AAC/ AGM for 2025 takes place ] . This is as per provisions of the constitution that the vice president takes over the President's task when such a situation arises.

APQN congratulates Dr Motova on this additional responsibility and feels confident that her vast experience at NCPA, Russia and also at APQN will add value to efficient functioning of APQN Board.
