Proof of recognition as a Higher Education Institution: Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) is a leading institute of Pakistan and to maintain and enhance the quality of its academic programs it is encouraging a ‘culture of quality’ within LUMS. It has formed a Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) whose job is to perform activities related to quality of learning, research, management and governance at LUMS and to ensure consistency and excellence in all activities performed by the entire LUMS community. QEC is collaborating with stakeholders and trying to adopt best practices to go above and beyond mere compliance with an emphasis on developing an effective quality assurance system at Lahore University of Management Sciences.
