Proof of recognition as a Higher Education Institution: The name of the recognition authority: Board Member of Shanghai Educational Evaluation Association. APQN can benefit Tongji University in the following four aspects, 1) It benefits Tongji University in gaining higher education quality assurance related information and advanced experience in the the Asia-Pacific region more efficient and convenient. 2) It benefits Tongji University in cooperation and communication with member institutions, and accelerating the internationalization of the internal quality assurance system of Tongji University. 3) It benefits quality assurance professionals of Tongji University in learning from member institutions for improving their professional level. 4) It benefits Tongji University in participating in research of quality assurance, in order to offer suggestions in improving the international quality assurance system of higher education. Proof of the organisation’s good standing with the local QA agency: Tongji University owns an internal quality assurance system containing education of undergraduate and graduated students. Externally, the university issues an annual quality report for undergraduate&graduated learning and teaching every school year. In 2014, our education quality assurance system achieves national teaching achievement award (grade B). In 2013, as the first batch of universities in Project 985, Tongji University accepted audit evaluation by the Ministry of Education of China.
