Department of Export Agriculture, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, has developed specific student teaching skills and experience. I have? tremendous? experience? in? teaching,? curriculum? development? and? quality? management and enhancement in a Higher Education (HE) environment along with excellent? written? and? verbal? communication? skills? that? developed? over? last? 20? years? beginning from a junior lecturer up to the Professor at Sabaragamuwa University, and as a? visiting? lecturer? for? the? University? of? Reading--©\UK,? University? of? Nottingham--©\UK? and? University of Nottingham --©\ Malaysia Campus. Further, I regularly participate in continuing professional? development? related? to? teaching? and? learning? and? subject? knowledge? workshops/trainings both at national and international level. I serve as a member of QA Standing Committee of University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka since 2016 and as a observer to Science Standing Committee to deal with QA matters. As a UGC--©\QA Standing committee representative, I contributed to organise 2 international conferences March 2019, Colombo in Quality Assurance in HEI; International Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) 15th Biannual Conference and Asia Pacific Quality Network?
