Professional Summary Description: "I have over 10 years experience in external quality assurance, with a particular focus on internationalization, transnational education, and cross-border cooperation in quality assurance. I have led QAA¡¯s international engagement and TNE review work over a number of years, engaging widely with international higher education and quality assurance systems and developments. In particular I have played a leading role in international developments in the quality assurance of TNE and inter-agency cooperation, including for example leading the drafting of the Toolkit for QA agencies: cooperation in cross-border higher education, the UK-Beijing Statement of cooperation in the quality assurance of Sino-UK TNE, the development of the Quality Beyond Boundaries Group, as well as being involved in the initial phases of the Cross-Border Quality Assurance Network (CBQAN). I have developed innovative ways for accreditation agencies to carry out joint review activity. I have been proactively engaging with the APQN network over the years, and the Asia-Pacific region, establishing excellent working relationships and gaining sound understanding of QA systems and challenges in many APQN countries.
