Professional Summary Description: Dr. Ganesh Anant Hegde, Assistant Adviser, NAAC Bangalore is an eminent personality, who has committed himself to the realms of Higher Education. He holds a Doctorate degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Mysore. He is an eminent educationist with a strong heritage of professional expertise he served as the publication Executive in the Department of Science and Technology, Vigyan Prasar, Govt. of India, New Delhi. In 1996, he joined the NAAC and is presently it’s Assistant Adviser, contributing to the council with unflinching devotion. He was instrumental in bringing out the manuals, guidelines and publications in the initial years of NAAC. He has organized many workshops on Assessment and Accreditation at national levels for Principals and Faculty members. He has conducted several assessors training programmes at NAAC for Vice Chancellors, Professors and Principals who will visit the Higher Education Institutions NAAC Peer Team.
