Professional Summary Description: I have studied psychology, business administration, Spanish, Russian as well as higher education research and management at the universities of Freiburg (Germany), Granada (Spain) and Kassel (Germany) with short study periods at the Polytechnical University Tomsk (Russia), the German-Kazakh University (Kazakhstan) and the Kyrgyz National University Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan). In 2011 I majored with a Master's degree in organizational and work psychology of the University of Freiburg (Germany). rnrnIn the quality assurance sphere I am a founding member on the Accreditation Board of "Evaluationsagentur Baden-Württemberg" (Germany), have extensive experience in programme and institutional acreditation and evaluation as well as in capacity building for institutional quality management systems. rnrnDuring my studies I have served as a student expert for the European Student Union (ESU), the European Universities Association (EUA) as well as positions on various academic gouvernance boards. I have co-authored two significant strategy papers on higher education reform at the University of Freiburg, both of which were the basis of a several millions of Euros of additional funding for the university which was distributed on a competitive basis. Also, I have been the founder of "Bachelor Gemeinsam Gestalten", a student platform to promote curriculum reform (http://bachelorgemeinsamgestalten.wordpress.com) which has been recognized by the German Rector's Conference as a model of best practice in involving students in Quality Assurance and Curriculum Reform as well as with the German "Higher Education Pearl award of 2011". rnrnIn my current position at the reknowned Centre for Higher Education Development (www.che-consult.de) I am involved in two projects to develop quality management systems for two newly founded institutions as well as with various smaller training and evaluation activities.
