Professional Summary Description: Dr. Muhammad Farooq has the exposure of working in well reputable international institutions such as Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, England and Korea Advance Institute of Science and Technology, Korea during my Ph.D. and Post doctorate studies. Beside, technical knowledge, I enhanced my oral and written communication skills during my stay in England and Korea. I have also experience of working in national R&D and Technical Quality related organizations like Pakistan Council for Renewable Energy Technologies (PCRET) and Pakistan National Accreditation Council (PNAC) respectively and contributed significantly by setting up a separate division for solar thermal activities at PCRET. I have audited dozens of laboratories in Varity of disciplines from testing to calibration in accordance International Standards for Laboratory Management and I have written reports on the quality of these laboratories during my stay in PNAC. I deliver frequently one day and five days lectures nationally and internationally on technical quality issues like Lead Assessor and Laboratory Management Courses on ISO/IEC 17025, quality assurance, method validation, and measurements of uncertainty. I have the experience of providing training and consultancy on Standards, Quality, Accreditation and Metrology at national and international level. I have been in involved in formulating the National Quality Policy and Plan (NQP&P) which has been approved by the cabinet and is being implemented by PNAC.
