Professional Summary Description: "I have supervised three phds and three MSCs and they all completed their degree two are doing the Phd at present. I have served as the subject reviewer for Zoology and Biology and done the review for South Eastern University via IRQUE project. I have done the review for Tehnican colleges and I was in the team for to review the Technological Institute at Kurunagala under HETC project. I have under gone training for the subject reviewer and Institutional reviewer under the world bank assisted project. I have served as the Director, Internal Quality Assurance Uunit at Eastern University from 2015 to 2019 and attending many of the training workshops related to QA, Gender Equity and Equality aspects, and for to the subject related workshops. I also served as the resource person for the Induction program to probationary staffs at Eastern University and served as Director Staff Development Centre for four years. I have undergone training at the University of Stirling while I was there in the Commonwealth Fellowship for the Quality Assurance aspects in UK. I have attended many of the training programs conducted by the UGC regarding Outcome based Education, Student Centred Education/ Learner Centered Teaching etc at different periods at different places in Sri Lanka."
