4. Brief Description: While I was vice-chair of the European Students' Unin (ESU), I started setting up European student QA experts' pool. Activities included organising discussions with the national unions of students creating database of student experts, coordination of student involvement in external QA reviews of QAAs, planning and preparing the first ESU training of QA student experts and preparation of project application to finance this training. Later on this work was continued by my followers. Before ESU I was working for the Latvian Students' Union and took part in programme reviews as student observer. Professional Summary Description: Currently, Anita Liice is an Adviser on Education and Employment Affairs of the Employersâ?? Confederation (LDDK) of Latvia. She is responsible for representing interests of employers and employer organisations in the field of education and employment on the national level through participating in different working groups, committees, conferences and other events, through analysing normative acts and preparing written opinion, as well as through developing and implementing projects and strengthening cooperation with member and partner organisations. She is a member of the Advisory Committee on Vocational Training and of the Lifelong Learning Programme Committee under the European Commission and the alternate member of the Governing Board of the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound). In 2010 she organised external review of the Latvian Higher Education Quality Assurance agency (AIKNC) for the LDDK which was the coordinating insitution for the review. Before her work at LDDK, she was working also for the Ministry of Education and Science as the senior officer. In 2005 â?? 2009 Anita Līce was working for the European Studentâ??s Union, during the last year â?? as the vice-chair. There, she was the overall responsible for finances and coordination of the international projects of the organisation, staff management and coordination, coordination of the Internal development Committee, development of the European student QA expertsâ?? pool, organisation of ESU conferences and trainings.
