Professional Summary Description: Dear colleagues, Please consider this professional profile as an expression of my interest in being nominated as a QA consultant under one or more of the three categories offered by APQN. My name is Elena Savinykh. I am the Head of the Organization and Methodology department of NCPA for about three years. The circle of my responsibilities includes 1) conducting training sessions and webinars for Russian HEIs on the quality assurance problems. We developed two courses (training programms): education quality evaluation goaled at training experts in the sphere of education; education quality management goaled at qualitative development of professional competencies of academicians needed to perform the activities within quality assurance; 2) developing methodological materials for the trainees; 3) developing instructional and methodological documents for the experts involved in document based evaluation and accreditation of HEIs’ educational programms. I also have extensive experience (18 years) of working as a lecturer and Associate Professor at the University. So I know very well the peculiarities of educational process at HEIs. In 2012 I took part in the experts’ training programme “Professional education quality evaluation”. In May 2013 being a member of the Guild of Experts in the Sphere of Professional Education (Russia) I was invited to participate in the training programme in the framework of International project TEMPUS-JPHES-№516796 “Qualifications framework for sustainable forestry and lifelong learning_SUFAREL” in the Universities of Padova (Italy) and Lille (France). I was selected to visit ARACIS (Romanian Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education) (as a staff member from CEENQA agency) and participated as an observer in the evaluation panel at the University "George Baritiu" in Brasov (private university) in October 2013. I also attended the training workshop for experts an agency review organized by ENQA 6-7 November 2014 and was awarded with the ENQA expert certificate. All this experience helps me to organize and conduct independent document based evaluation and accreditation of HEIs’ educational programs (about 100), educational standards of federal universities (23). So I’m greatly dedicated and interested in making contribution in the sphere of education quality assurance and can be characterized by enthusiasm, reliability and passion about my work.
