Professional Summary Description: Professor Emeritus Merv Hyde AM is an educator and psychologist and held a number of senior positions at Griffith University, including that of Chair of the Academic Board. He is currently Professor Emeritus of Griffith University and has been Academic Director of the International Projects Group and an active researcher in the Faculty of Science, Health, Education and Engineering at the University of the Sunshine Coast. He is currently Head of School of Education at the University of the Sunshine Coast. He has been a University Auditor for 12 years and is now a member of the Register of Experts in Higher Education for the Australian Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency.
